About Us

Rather than conforming to North America's fast food industry, we decided to emulate Portugal's old Tasacas (Taverns that served sandwiches) and Churrasqueiras (Grill Houses serving churrasco chicken). We combined both, eliminated the booze and Portugril was born.

Portugril's objective is threefold:

  • Consistently offer a visibly clean, healthy and fresh alternative to today's regular fast food choices.
  • Make your experience at Portugril as tasty and enjoyable as possible.
  • Introduce all to A little taste of Portugal.

From our churrasco and rotisserie chicken with our home-made Piri Piri sauce, to oven roasted vegetables in EVOO, garlic and sun dried tomatoes, all our foods are prepared daily from the freshest possible ingredients. We use only vegetable oil and Yukon Gold potatoes to make our home-cut chips. Yes, using frozen would be much less expensive and a lot less work, but that's just not acceptable at Portugril.
